FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is a method that harvests the grafts directly from the donor area. Using a special needle, the grafts in the donor area are removed. Thereafter, the grafts are taken out of the skin with a pair of tweezers. These grafts do not need not be treated and can be replaced directly in the transplanted area.
The advantage of this technique is that there are no strips of skin being removed from the donor area, as is the case with FUT treatment, which reduces the risk of complications and prevents scarring. Our special method minimizes the chance that the hair follicle dries out or gets damaged by a lack of oxygen and nutrients or by temperature differences.
